People love to play computer games, whether a fighting or sports game it all about winning. But the Nintendo Wii has brought so much more to the industry than any other console including the Xbox 360 (see Tiger Woods Golf) and the Sony PlayStation 3, now instead of just playing a game and exersize your mind, you can also tire out your body.
I myself play golf a lot and to be honest I did not used to be very good, no matter what golf clubs or golf putters I purchased it just did not help me. Well a few times back I decided to purchase a Nintendo Wii and it came bundled in with Wii Sports which included a Golf game. Obviously being obsessed with golf I decided to play this and it was just as realistic as any real game I have ever played.
After a few weeks of playing the game I felt very confident in my new found ability to play the game so decided to join a tournament. I did not feel I would get very far, but to my surprise I got through the first round and then the second and third, I was in the semi finals but unfortunatley I got eliminated out by a professional golfer who had probably had a decade and more of practice.
But I would not get myself angry because of the fact that I got to the semi finals, it just shows you how well the games consoles have developed. I do recommend that if you are looking to get into any type of activity to go out and grab yourself a games console, within a few months you will have mastered your game. The wii and a nice set of golf equipment is all you need.
