Sports games are an escape, temporarily, from reality. Sports games like tennis, bowling, baseball, surfing etc give you a real work out just like the real sports do – you will work up a sweat just like you would playing the real thing. With the current console battle in a full blown war, we take a look at the Playstation 3 and its huge price tag. A simple yet proven fact is that the PS3 does do justice to its price? There is no way!

The Playstation 3 comes with a huge pricetag but should not be compared to the other systems. There is always talk about a war between the next generation of consoles, and this is true, there should be healthy competition and it’s great to see which one will sell the most. But for an avid gamer you will be losing out on a lot if you do not grab yourself all three of the major consoles, which are PS3, Xbox 360 and the Wii. We will now take a look at why you need all three.

Sony Playstation 3
The massivley successful Playstation brand is much loved, and to be an honest person the play station 3 has not let anyone down. The console is of course pricey, but just look at what you are getting. A hard drive, probably a console with the best rendering of graphics, top titles and not to mention the Blu-ray. A blue ray is very pricey compared to a PS3.

Microsoft Xbox 360
The 1st system to launch has a huge advantage over its competitors and that is very much great progress. The creators know how to manipulate the xbox to get the best. Not to mention that it has a lot more titles than the other two.

Nintendo Wii
The New Wii brought a new aspect to gaming and with that came a whole new touch and feel. Apparent a lot of the games or titles may not be serious, they are very exciting to take control of. The wii is a superb family console that everyone can enjoy.

As you can see from the above all systems have their own benefits, but one of the main benefits is the wide range of the games like Call of Duty 6. Most games only have sole rights to each console, so not obtaining all three could see you missing out on a great title. You should 100% consider purchasing the PS3.

I myself play golf a lot and to be honest I did not used to be very good, no matter what golf clubs or golf putters I purchased it just did not help me. Well a few times back I decided to purchase a Nintendo Wii and it came bundled in with Wii Sports which included a Golf game. Obviously being obsessed with golf I decided to play this and it was just as realistic as any real game I have ever played.

After a few weeks of playing the game I felt very confident in my new found ability to play the game so decided to join a tournament. I did not feel I would get very far, but to my surprise I got through the first round and then the second and third, I was in the semi finals but unfortunatley I got eliminated out by a professional golfer who had probably had a decade and more of practice.

But I would not get myself angry because of the fact that I got to the semi finals, it just shows you how well the games consoles have developed. I do recommend that if you are looking to get into any type of activity to go out and grab yourself a games console, within a few months you will have mastered your game. The wii and a nice set of golf equipment is all you need.

While features like movie and music playback and Internet access have made the Xbox 360 video game system ideal for all home entertainment purposes, its staple source of entertainment is in video games. Some of the biggest titles on the Xbox 360 are listed below, but you must understand that there are literally hundreds more to choose from. RPG fans will delight in the Xbox 360 video game system because they get to choose from the likes of Mass Effect and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Shooter fans will love Call of Duty 4 and Gears of War, while any type of gamer will love Grand Theft Auto IV and Fallout 3. The game library for the Xbox 360 video game system is already very large and complete, but there will be hundreds of additions to it over the years.

You do always have the option of buying the game used, but you have to be very cautious if you decide to go this route because you can never really be too sure of the condition of the game if you are buying it used.
